These are the essential founding documents defining and maintaining our constitutional republic. Bare in mind that these documents are based on the assumption that the people are self-governing. As John Adams stated, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
These documents have been carefully scrutinized based on adherence to the original manuscripts. In some cases headings have been added to help catagorize and clarify the original intent. Hyper link references are also included. Students are encouraged to first pour over the hard-copy documents by marking, annotating and summarizing.
